Institut Français d'Études Anatoliennes (IFEA) is a research center supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Scientific Research Center (CNRS). Since 1931, the institution has been conducting research on historical and contemporary topics in Turkey, particularly in archaeology, Ottoman and Turkish history, sociology, politics, and urbanization. This archive, which was digitized by SALT Research as part of the collaboration between IFEA and SALT, consists of the vast collection of photographs taken by IFEA members during field projects, conducted between the years 1950-2000.
