This collection includes photographs of the extraordinary furniture designs of the studio Kare Metal. Founded by Sadi Öziş (1923-2012) and İlhan Koman (1921-1986), the group also included Şadi Çalık (1917-1979), but only featured the production of Sadi Öziş in its later years, specifically during the 1958-1966 period. The archive not only provides source material on the history of one of the most essential institutions for modern furniture in Turkey, but also sheds light on the history of furniture design in the country at large.
