Edirne ruusuna haiz Karaferye Kazası müftüsü Hacı Mustafa Ağa'nın oğludur. 1292 tarihinde Karaferye Kasabası'nda tevellüd etmiştir. mezkur kasabada Sıbyan Mektebi'nde esas-ı islamiyet olan akaide ait bazı resail ve rüşdiyede mürettib dersleri tahsil ve aliyyü'l-âlâ derecede şehâdetnâme istihsal etmiştir.
