Studied in Mittweida, Germany between 1921 and 1922, electrical engineer Hüseyin Bâhir Kocabay worked at the Trabzon Elektrik Türk Anonim Şirketi from the 1920s to the 1930s. Operated an electricity enterprise in Bahçekapı Birinci Vakıf Han in Istanbul and later served as the Chief Inspector of the İzmir Nafia Company and Institutions in the 1950s, Kocabay's archive consists of documents and photographs related to his personal and professional work from 1915 to 1958.
