Proje, Türk Mühendis ve Mimar Odaları Birliği (TMMOB) ve İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Mimarlık Fakültesi tarafından açılan yarışmada birincilik ödülü aldı ve 1966 yılında uygulandı. - The project was awarded the first prize in the competition held by Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB) and Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Architecture and implemented in 1966.
