This series holds exceptional historical and ethnographic value as it contains approximately 3,000 images, which date from the late 19th century up to 2010, when the “Amerikan Bord Heyeti,” closed its offices in Istanbul. The items in the series are mostly original photographs, but also include postcards, maps and plans, and a special section dedicated to photographic portraits, allowing for a visual analysis of the period.
