This collection contains the papers of Evliyazade Mehmed Efendi and his son Evliyazade Refik Bey. While Evliyazade Mehmed Efendi served twice as the mayor of Izmir, and was later a member of the Izmir Municipal Council, his son Evliyazade Refik Bey was the mayor of Izmir during World War I. The papers comprise company documents, account books and a few family letters.
