This collection includes materials that relate to the film director Yılmaz Güney’s (1937-1984) time in France. In addition to correspondence related to international film festival applications undertook by Jak Şalom for the films Ağıt [Requiem] , Endişe [Anxiety], Umut [Hope], Arkadaş [Friend], there are clippings from the international press, film posters as well as letters pertaining to the signature campaign for the director’s release.
